Apat Reina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 47 minutes, João Francisco Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All Boys 22's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Francisco Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kauã Mandrak was the one to do the kick off. In the 87th minute, Eloy Oihan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apat Reina was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After 92 played minutes Retumbante FC got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Mendonça. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Hâldan in the 94th minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Apat Reina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Retumbante FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching All Boys 22's performance. The match ended with a win for All Boys 22.
