Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Linus Fredriksson. Linus Fredriksson in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Lacasa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 4th minute of play. The corner ended in Luca Rouco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez did a great save. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Linus Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match Marlin FC got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aybek Orcun ran over to the corner to take the kick. Reynaldo Duarte came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Fredriksson in the 25th minute of play. Juan Carlos Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Juan Carlos Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yin Yang came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. In the 34th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Sotil. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 41st minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Panpili in the 42nd minute of play. Linus Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the game, Dionisio Panpili cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marlin FC's Reynaldo Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Juan Carlos Alvarez made a huge save. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yin Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 63rd minute, Yin Yang made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 69th minute, Dionisio Panpili ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Aybek Orcun kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 74 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. Ismael Iglesias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dante Lacasa. Mexico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Yin Yang got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Facundo Cadaval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Fredriksson in the 82nd minute of play. Yin Yang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Ismael Iglesias sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa skillfully saved the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marlin FC.
