Arlo Fresnos was slow to take the kick. During this time Abeluse Flow's players had a chance to rest. Abeluse Flow's Hugo Carlomagno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antonio Adán in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 33rd minute Zigmantas Gimbutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Valdomiro Lira hit a great ball. Stephan Braamhaar hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Nacho Molina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintino Carvalhais in the 41st minute of the match. SC Braga's Antonio Adán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Bide in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Abeluse Flow booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Malheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Bide to make the kick off. SC Braga's Antonio Cieri was substituted for Quintino Carvalhais. SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson was substituted for Zigmantas Gimbutas. Abeluse Flow's Julio Barroso was substituted for Arsenio Bide. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Barroso in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Adán saved SC Braga from getting behind. If Julio Barroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Abeluse Flow's Antonio Adán threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julio Barroso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Cieri in the 87th minute of play forced Abeluse Flow's goalkeeper Nacho Molina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Abeluse Flow's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Charl De Metser was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Braga's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Charl De Metser got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nacho Molina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Julio Barroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Adán was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 92 minutes into the match, Julio Barroso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antonio Adán, 1-2. Alberto Malheiro made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Abeluse Flow's Facundo Delgado. Antonio Cieri hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.

Abeluse Flow's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
