Arkadiusz Piatek started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's Arkadiusz Piatek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andriy Lunin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arkadiusz Piatek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andriy Lunin having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Piatek in the 10th minute of play forced SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalkeeper Andriy Lunin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Ungureanu came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Ungureanu in the 15th minute of play forced Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andriy Lunin came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Utopía Muerta FC's Arkadiusz Piatek. But to his dismay, Arkadiusz Piatek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Eustaquio Brufau was substituted for Ödön Szily. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. made a substitution. Chen Zhen replaced Steffen Michalsky. Niculae Ungureanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arkadiusz Piatek in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andriy Lunin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mano Hume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Elodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Piatek in the 43rd minute of play forced SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalkeeper Andriy Lunin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Schade's late challenge caught a Utopía Muerta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Schade helped the player get up and apologised. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niculae Ungureanu to strike the kick off in the second half. David Elodio in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mano Hume, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 53 minutes, Arkadiusz Piatek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utopía Muerta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arkadiusz Piatek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Piatek came free, but Andriy Lunin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that David Elodio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mano Hume was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Utopía Muerta FC made a substitution. Ildefonso Abalos replaced Prudencio Ubelteso. Utopía Muerta FC's Braulio Hibai was substituted for Anier Johans. Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Elodio in the 64th minute of play. Mano Hume made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Elodio in the 66th minute. Mano Hume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Ungureanu in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Hibai came free, but Andriy Lunin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Utopía Muerta FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fermin Martinez in the 71st minute. Mano Hume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Elodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 83 minutes SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fermin Martinez who took care of the corner kick. In the 87th minute Niculae Ungureanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mano Hume saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th play minute Niculae Ungureanu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mano Hume. 1-1. David Elodio scored 1-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mano Hume, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Martinez in the 95th minute of play.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
