The corner led to Beek City's Johnny Bator getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Esen Sanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Hendrickx in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Siöman came free, but Esen Sanal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match, Lei Feng Yan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arian Beqaj saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Roman Lech kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
