Thanks to some nice moves Tolek Wojtyna could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Bolo Skjold however easily saved by the left post. Bolo Skjold was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mateo Palacio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. After 7 played minutes Zjem Cię got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Wojtyna. Zjem Cię's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tolek Wojtyna in the 16th minute. The corner led Zjem Cię's Tolek Wojtyna to fire away a dangerous shot which Bolo Skjold despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Zjem Cię getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Manfred Hönisch hit a great ball. Michael Näver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Protegéerna's goalkeeper Bolo Skjold, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute Zjem Cię were awarded a corner. Tolek Wojtyna went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 24thth minute of the game Mateo Palacio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Protegéerna's goalie prevented a goal. Arman Lingren hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes Zjem Cię got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Palacio. In the 31st minute, Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 35 minutes into the game, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Napoleon Jajko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Napoleon Jajko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Skarkman in the 38th minute of the match. Mateo Palacio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bolo Skjold having to make a save. Bolo Skjold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Palacio in the 40th minute of play. The throw-in from Cosme Demesio in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Zjem Cię's Amador Presebal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Skarkman in the 44th minute of play forced Zjem Cię's goalkeeper Napoleon Jajko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Protegéerna booed when Zjem Cię was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Cempa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Palacio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bolo Skjold came out and tried to block the shot, but Mateo Palacio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petter Skarkman to make the kick off. Zjem Cię's Napoleon Jajko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Lundin in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes Zjem Cię's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michael Näver who took care of the corner kick. In the 60th match minute, Protegéerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrik Söderlund to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Palacio came free, but Bolo Skjold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zjem Cię made a substitution. Murillo Cedeno replaced Iwo Cwynar. Zjem Cię's Napoleon Jajko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Python in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zjem Cię's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Michael Näver was slow to take the kick. During this time Protegéerna's players had a chance to rest. Protegéerna's Michael Näver was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Napoleon Jajko in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Amador Presebal kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Zjem Cię's Lino Orešar was substituted for Jim Morrison. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zjem Cię's goalkeeper Napoleon Jajko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zjem Cię fans cheered their team off the field, for while Protegéerna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
