With a little luck, Paunero's Albino Inguma got control of the ball when Wambasther Robben tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wambasther Robben to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Iureș came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Ederono in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Aristide Iureș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Ederono in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Ugutz saved Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting behind. 14 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Paunero's Francesco Cilli fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 17 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Dale Dolar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Cilli in the 19th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paunero's Albino Inguma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Dolar in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Dale Dolar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albino Inguma. Dale Dolar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Francesco Cilli hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Albino Inguma was a little too slow when Dale Dolar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. 35 minutes into the game, Aristide Iureș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Patricio Ugutz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40thth minute of the game Tadeo Ederono who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Clóvis Vieira managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Francesco Cilli in the 45 minute of the game. If Tadeo Ederono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tadeo Ederono made the kick off in the second half. Patricio Ugutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Iureș, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz got control of the ball when Francesco Cilli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dale Dolar took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albino Inguma. Albino Inguma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 59th minute, Paunero's Aristide Iureș ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patricio Ugutz. Patricio Ugutz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Paunero's Albino Inguma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Dolar in the 64th minute of play. When Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paunero's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71st minute, Dale Dolar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Jorge Carrascal replaced Dale Dolar. Francesco Cilli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Patricio Ugutz made a huge save. A collision led to Paunero getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Salvador Maiorga hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the game, Jorge Carrascal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Albino Inguma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Albino Inguma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Carrascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Ederono in the 86th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute of the match, Tadeo Ederono tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patricio Ugutz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wambasther Robben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Aristide Iureș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Carrascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Paunero's Salvador Maiorga got a free kick in the 95th minute.

Paunero's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
