In the 28th minute, David Batuhin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuatrodeocho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlhami Akyazıcı in the 33rd minute of play forced Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Fulgencio Villalcazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a corner. Cuatrodeocho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stasio Bienienda ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dacian Tilea was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Cuatrodeocho's Fulgencio Villalcazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Cuatrodeocho from getting a goal against them. In the 45th match minute, Cuatrodeocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Dimas to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zhao Sen Yang made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Batuhin got free with Ivan Chiuzbaian in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Emil Wielopolski replaced Grigore Maghiran. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Batuhin was slow to take the kick. During this time Cuatrodeocho's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Cuatrodeocho's Horea Băieșu got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, Cuatrodeocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Băieșu to maneuver through the defense. Cuatrodeocho's Horea Băieșu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stasio Bienienda in the 88 minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Iván Villafane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Chiuzbaian was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. In the 92nd match minute, Cuatrodeocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iván Villafane to maneuver through the defense. After 94 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Tilea.

Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
