Alemannia Aachen's Manfred Kottsieper quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Carlos Puyol, made in the 33rd minute of the game. 39 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's Mateusz Rydel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cazimir Angelescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alemannia Aachen's Lech Wawrukiewicz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlos Puyol in the 43 minute of the game. Cazimir Angelescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateusz Rydel went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Erhan Alp kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Mateusz Rydel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurențiu Pora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jess Carnduff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither Alemannia Aachen or Hayalim Kedoshim succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Hayalim Kedoshim's Laurențiu Pora that got to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Hayalim Kedoshim's zone, Mateusz Rydel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cazimir Angelescu came out of the goal and Mateusz Rydel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jess Carnduff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Pora in the 105th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurențiu Pora in the 105th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jess Carnduff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurențiu Pora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 113th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jess Carnduff having to interfere.

When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Mateusz Rydel to make the kick off. 鲁剑建 hit a great freekick 119 minutes into the match. Cazimir Angelescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateusz Rydel in the 121st minute of play. The game was still level after extra-time. The match had to be settled by penalties!

The referee gave Hayalim Kedoshim a penalty, 134 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Laurențiu Pora, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff. 1-2. In the 140th minute there was a penalty for Alemannia Aachen. Lech Wawrukiewicz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cazimir Angelescu. 3-4. Alemannia Aachen:s Cazimir Angelescu showed great skill when he stopped Erez Loco:s penalty. In the 144th minute there was a penalty for Hayalim Kedoshim. Valter Setúbal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jess Carnduff. 4-5. In the 146th minute there was a penalty for Alemannia Aachen. Aulis Salomaa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cazimir Angelescu. 5-5. A hard and well directed shot from Garfield Sau led 147 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 5-6. Cazimir Angelescu had in the 148thth minute some difficulties stopping 鲁剑建's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
