The audience thought a goal was coming when Juarês Donato got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the game, Robin Steckamp lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Pedro Manzanares. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cris Courtois saved Wambalamba FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cris Courtois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 21st minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Juarês Donato sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Finnman, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Abram Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 60th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Cris Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cris Courtois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Donato in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Pedro Manzanares had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Robin Steckamp's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cris Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Secada, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Wambalamba FC's Andre-Yann Dospel got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Abram Secada made a precise shot to the right of Cris Courtois. Wambalamba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Wambalamba FC's Léo Souto was substituted for João Carlos Vianna. Abram Secada received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cris Courtois came out and tried to block the shot, but Abram Secada slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 91st minute. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Abram Secada sped through Wambalamba FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cris Courtois. The Colombia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
