Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) İbrahim Volkan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Volkan in the 4th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Esmeraldas S.C.'s İbrahim Volkan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as İbrahim Volkan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 17th minute of play. Kevin Mastache took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aguinaga Nebot. Aguinaga Nebot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Damian Maftei scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 3-1. Aguinaga Nebot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aguinaga Nebot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aguinaga Nebot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 38th minute of play forced Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aguinaga Nebot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 48 minutes Esmeraldas S.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Axel Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aguinaga Nebot quite easily take care of the ball.

Aguinaga Nebot made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Colombia's Joshua Garrido got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Damian Maftei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Maftei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Esmeraldas S.C. from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Esmeraldas S.C. getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ghitã Fratea hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Aguinaga Nebot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aguinaga Nebot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Aguinaga Nebot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 68th minute. Esmeraldas S.C. made a substitution. Flavio Valines replaced Martinez Cines. After a rather tough play, Esmeraldas S.C.'s Torsti Puistola got a free kick in the 76th minute. Abram Secada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aguinaga Nebot having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Aguinaga Nebot made a huge save. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Esmeraldas S.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. The corner ended in Orlando Tafalla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot did a great save. The supporters of Colombia booed when Esmeraldas S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ghitã Fratea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aguinaga Nebot having to interfere. Esmeraldas S.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
