Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Colombia's Abram Sarmiento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd play minute Robin Steckamp came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Manzanares. 1-0. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cris Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Florin Acevedo in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Brian Finnman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 15th minute of play. Cris Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 18th minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Axel Montenegro made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Abram Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cris Courtois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes Wambalamba FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Santino Seco got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 27 minutes into the match. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brian Finnman was slow to take the kick. During this time Wambalamba FC's players had a chance to rest. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Colombia! Colombia's attentive Axel Montenegro managed to snatch the ball when Rolf Pilgren made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Wambalamba FC's João Carlos Vianna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 43rd minute Juarês Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robin Steckamp was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Carlos Vianna in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santino Seco hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Robin Steckamp came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Wambalamba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Steckamp couldn't finish the play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês Donato in the 61st minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Finnman, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Steckamp came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robin Steckamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Steckamp in the 67th minute of play. When João Carlos Vianna came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Wambalamba FC fans jumped to their feet. The audience was convinced that João Carlos Vianna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Donato in the 79th minute of the match. Ignacio Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Juarês Donato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. If Robin Steckamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wambalamba FC's Léo Souto was substituted for João Carlos Vianna. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Finnman, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Robin Steckamp made in the 92nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Brian Finnman however managed to control. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brian Finnman went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score.
