Hjalmar Lind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Toscano in the 3rd minute of the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Tony Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pihl United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Wallin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Thierry Henry notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of S.E.R Corujão's Nando Fernandes. Nando Fernandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robin Apelqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Fernandes having to interfere. Thierry Henry scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nando Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robin Apelqvist took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nando Fernandes. Nando Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Nando Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, S.E.R Corujão's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Wallin came free, but Nando Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hjalmar Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Toscano in the 38th minute of play. With his leg Hjalmar Lind managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when S.E.R Corujão's Benjamim de Almeida fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamim de Almeida got free with Hjalmar Lind in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Franklin Toscano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hjalmar Lind. The goal made the score 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franklin Toscano made a kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of S.E.R Corujão:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pihl United:s goal. S.E.R Corujão:s Nando Fernandes showed great skill when he stopped Elliot Malmgren:s penalty. In the 56th minute, Elliot Malmgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nando Fernandes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After a rather tough play, Pihl United's Joakim Näver got a free kick in the 58th minute. Pihl United's Hjalmar Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Machado in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Pihl United getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Thierry Henry hit a great ball. Vitório Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Machado in the 68th minute of play forced Pihl United's goalkeeper Hjalmar Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thierry Henry in the 70th minute of play forced S.E.R Corujão's goalkeeper Nando Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elliot Malmgren charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elliot Malmgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of S.E.R Corujão booed when Pihl United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot Malmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes S.E.R Corujão got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Reis. Rasmus Gummeson charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rasmus Gummeson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pihl United getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Rasmus Gummeson hit a great ball. In the 78th minute Benjamim de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Pihl United's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Severo came free, but Hjalmar Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thierry Henry got free with Nando Fernandes in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nando Fernandes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Wallin in the 85th minute. S.E.R Corujão's Sílvio Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Tony Wallin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Nando Fernandes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
The Pihl United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
