Dalmacio Pello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play forced Tello AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Nofre in the 21st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. That made the score 1-1 after 33 minutes of play. 35 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Dalmacio Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Unax could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmacio Pello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 67 minutes into the game, Tello AFC's Uriel Cordearo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 85th play minute Milagros Fraga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dalmacio Pello. 2-4. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Dalmacio Pello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 90th minute. Tello AFC's Dalmacio Pello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Tello AFC from getting a goal against them. Peru played a much better game than Tello AFC and deserved their victory. The Tello AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
