Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hidayat Peng started the match with the kick off. If Didi Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Redbourn AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afiz Teo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afiz Teo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Redbourn AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Joshua Secada at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Redbourn AFC. 0-1. When Joshua Secada, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 16 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Afiz Teo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Redbourn AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zafran Chuan in the 25th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mujahid Dryburgh in the 27th minute of the match. Noh Au fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Afiz Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Didi Teo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hidayat Peng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Afiz Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Redbourn AFC's Ronn Yi-Sheng got a free kick in the 39th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Didi Teo in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Didi Teo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afiz Teo having to interfere. Hidayat Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 54th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hidayat Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronn Yi-Sheng kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Afiz Teo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Didi Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afiz Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Hidayat Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas had several of the Redbourn AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Afiz Teo as he didn't even see the shot coming. 83 minutes into the match, Mujahid Dryburgh notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 86 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Noh Au came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jonathan Venegas fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jonathan Venegas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noh Au in the 91st minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Redbourn AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
