Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ntinos Kaliakatsos started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Ntinos Kaliakatsos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Ntinos Kaliakatsos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ntinos Kaliakatsos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ntinos Kaliakatsos in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Jose F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Aris Zanteroglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Aris Zanteroglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ntinos Kaliakatsos in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play forced Jose F.C.'s goalkeeper Aris Zanteroglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris scored 2-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aris Zanteroglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Themos Panagakis took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 47th minute of play forced Jose F.C.'s goalkeeper Aris Zanteroglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Zanteroglou having to interfere. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Aris Zanteroglou made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris in the 57th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st match minute, Jose F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Themos Panagakis to maneuver through the defense. Aris Zanteroglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Zanteroglou having to interfere. With a little luck, Jose F.C.'s Aris Zanteroglou got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Aris Zanteroglou made a huge save. After 87 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. If Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Jose F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
