The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Vidal to strike the kick off in the second half. Alberto Mendonça scored 3-0 in the 50th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 minutes, Cláudio Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SORRISO E. C. and the Black Rose 1979 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes SORRISO E. C. got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Couto. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Rigoberto Tello got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th match minute, SORRISO E. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Arce to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Abreu came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by SORRISO E. C.'s Alberto Mendonça. But to his dismay, Alberto Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. SORRISO E. C.'s Douglas Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save SORRISO E. C. from getting a goal against them. During the 68th minute of the match Celedonio Iraitz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Celedonio Iraitz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Celedonio Iraitz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Zacarias Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Alfredo da Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0.
