Basilio Justin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Damasceno in the 17th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Basilio Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Justin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Damasceno's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bernardo Ranolfo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Eliseu Alagoano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Justin. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Justin should have stopped the shot. If Eliseu Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Elias Damasceno managed to get in a good position for a shot. 卡納里尼奧 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Damasceno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Justin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agustin Pacho's late challenge caught a 卡納里尼奧 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustin Pacho helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Pacho. Basilio Justin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Alagoano in the 47th minute of the match.

In the 60thth minute of the game Elias Damasceno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Basilio Justin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Elias Damasceno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Basilio Justin, 0-3. In the 66th minute, Eliseu Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Severino da Cunha got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Severino da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the 卡納里尼奧 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino da Cunha couldn't finish the play. Agostinho Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Agustin Pacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
