Antal Budai came out and tried to block the shot, but Enéas Varela slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donalton Meneses to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Chaves came free, but Antal Budai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antal Budai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enéas Varela went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Szombathely Squirrels's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernani do Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Szombathely Squirrels had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
