Teobaldo Milian started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Falcke. 10 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Aquiles Oihenarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Urbez. Club Atlético Atlanta's Aquiles Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Reynardo in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Pedro Rojelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Oihenarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Reynardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Guter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silverio Mazuste's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Atlanta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Mazuste helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Mazuste. Remigio Joanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Milian in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remigio Joanes saved Falckner FC from getting behind. 33 minutes into the game, Luis Filipo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falckner FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. After 33 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Filipo. 34 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Atlanta's Teobaldo Milian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigio Joanes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Aquiles Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Lluis in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Dionisio Emesto hit a great ball. Aquiles Oihenarte was a little too slow when Silverio Mazuste got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Urbez made a kick off. When Pedro Rojelio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Pedro Rojelio hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Dionisio Emesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Herminio Ourente got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jonas Urbez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 73 minutes of play Falckner FC's Luis Filipo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 74 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Filipo. Alfonso Lluis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Oihenarte having to interfere. Aquiles Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Lluis in the 83rd minute of play. Club Atlético Atlanta's Aquiles Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Lluis in the 84th minute of play. Club Atlético Atlanta's Teobaldo Milian got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89thth minute of the game Alfonso Lluis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Aquiles Oihenarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Ivan Reynardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falckner FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Reynardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Oihenarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonso Lluis struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Aquiles Oihenarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falckner FC.
