After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Iwan Pieprz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Srebrny Grom DK's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwan Pieprz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Róbert Kormos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaw Sobania made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsolt Vörös in the 6th minute of play. After 9 minutes Srebrny Grom DK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ferenc Jászberényi who took care of the corner kick. Gustaw Sobania took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihály Földesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaw Sobania made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihály Földesi in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziemowit Wnukowski got free with Róbert Kormos in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ziemowit Wnukowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbert Kormos having to interfere. Róbert Kormos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fryderyk Zalipski, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Róbert Kormos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iwan Pieprz in the 33rd minute. Róbert Kormos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Zalipski in the 35th minute of the match. Róbert Kormos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fryderyk Zalipski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Szombathely Squirrels's Ferenc Jászberényi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ferenc Jászberényi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Szombathely Squirrels protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ferenc Jászberényi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 39th minute, one of Szombathely Squirrels:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Szombathely Squirrels. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Ziemowit Wnukowski made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Gregorczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Iwan Pieprz notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos. Róbert Kormos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Wnukowski in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szombathely Squirrels's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaroslaw Kowalski was slow to take the kick. During this time Srebrny Grom DK's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Daniel Gregorczyk heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Róbert Kormos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fryderyk Zalipski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Gregorczyk hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Fryderyk Zalipski notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos. Róbert Kormos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ziemowit Wnukowski scored 5-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Róbert Kormos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Mihály Földesi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustaw Sobania was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Srebrny Grom DK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
