Mikolaj Balonek's late challenge caught a Szombathely Squirrels's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikolaj Balonek helped the player get up and apologised. Szombathely Squirrels's Attila Gerebics was substituted for János Major. In the 4th minute, Mikolaj Balonek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfred Starogardzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihály Földesi in the 6th minute. Dénes Boross could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Alfred Starogardzki made a huge save. Mihály Földesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Alfred Starogardzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Tomasz Gendolla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbert Kormos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Mihály Földesi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Mocko in the 19th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Róbert Kormos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zsolt Vörös received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfred Starogardzki came out and tried to block the shot, but Zsolt Vörös slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Tomasz Gendolla managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Raczyny's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomasz Gendolla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Róbert Kormos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lajos Jakó to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Starogardzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attila Gerebics in the 29th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Mihály Földesi put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alfred Starogardzki. 39 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Gendolla came free, but Róbert Kormos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Róbert Kormos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomasz Gendolla, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Alfred Starogardzki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihály Földesi went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihály Földesi in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Starogardzki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Róbert Kormos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Mocko in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of AC Raczyny booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zsolt Vörös didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Krisztián György hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Róbert Kormos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomasz Gendolla in the 70th minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play, Szombathely Squirrels's Dénes Boross made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfred Starogardzki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dénes Boross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Dénes Boross managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters rose to their feet, but Dénes Boross was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Starogardzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfred Starogardzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihály Földesi in the 84th minute of play. When Mihály Földesi came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Szombathely Squirrels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihály Földesi couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Krisztián György hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Mocko in the 90th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Róbert Kormos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Krisztián György. Szombathely Squirrels's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
