With his leg Jules Triboulet managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Black Rose 1979's Silvio Llope fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Maximiliano Dalmu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jules Triboulet was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Malik Vrignon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Iraitz having to interfere. Black Rose 1979's Cristo Furtado shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jules Triboulet but with some difficulty. Maximiliano Dalmu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jules Triboulet having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's Maximiliano Dalmu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jules Triboulet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Gonza Montiel suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. José Dehais got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Black Rose 1979's Samuel Crispo was substituted for Gonza Montiel. José Dehais kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Antonin Daguerre took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Celedonio Iraitz to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Llope in the 70th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Jules Triboulet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Black Rose 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Furtado to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Antonin Daguerre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celedonio Iraitz. Black Rose 1979's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonin Daguerre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 85th minute, Jonathan Samuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute of the match Cristo Furtado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jules Triboulet skillfully saved the ball. Cristo Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Cristo Furtado got a free kick in the 90th minute. Antonin Daguerre, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Herblay eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
