Tolga Özbilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Albäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Vitor Beckenbauer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SaHNoYaN HuN TüRK•iCON's Tolga Özbilen didn't even have to move. With a little luck, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa got control of the ball when Koray Baran tried to sneak it across the goal line. The SaHNoYaN HuN TüRK•iCON fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tolga Özbilen should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Koray Baran dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodriguinho Sousa, 2-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Tolga Özbilen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SaHNoYaN HuN TüRK•iCON made a substitution. Maximo Urritz replaced Edmundson Colling. Tolga Özbilen made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Deilmison van Basten sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denílson Magalhães got free with Tolga Özbilen in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th match minute, ATHLETICO PRaiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gu Zhan Cheng to maneuver through the defense. If Deilmison van Basten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
