The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Jerardo got free with Mitchel Dijkstra in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Leandro Soares took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Edmond Verdun to make any attempt to save it. Edmond Verdun came out of the goal and Leandro Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun got control of the ball when Leandro Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fc Benefica had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
