After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Shantala in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lobos de Carelia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marco Bilbo was slow to take the kick. During this time Falckner FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 15th minute Pavao Zadro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco De la Maza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Xiao Xiang Ling in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Falckner FC's Marco Bilbo. Nestor Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Falckner FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Loco De la Maza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavao Zadro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Nestor Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Vialli in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Pavao Zadro made the kick off in the second half. Loco De la Maza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Perico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Gianluca Vialli notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lobos de Carelia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gianluca Vialli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 85th minute, Gianluca Vialli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falckner FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Falckner FC made a substitution. Alberto Edorta replaced Gianluca Vialli. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Lobos de Carelia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Falckner FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Falckner FC.
