The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Hermínio Ferraz made the kick off in the second half. Cássio Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Abraão in the 54th minute of the match. Alvinegro Carioca succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Merusca F&P - CIMZ had controlled the match.
