The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cléber Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chuttur Lønge in the 3rd minute of the match. If Afonso Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cléber Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chuttur Lønge, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Cléber Pinho was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Chuttur Lønge capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chuttur Lønge really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Cléber Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chuttur Lønge, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Cléber Pinho came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Chuttur Lønge. But to his dismay, Chuttur Lønge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 27 minutes into the game, Chuttur Lønge recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cléber Pinho. Chuttur Lønge showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Cléber Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chuttur Lønge in the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match Beto Martini MZ 20 years got a corner. Clube do Remo MZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jochen Gijselinx ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Beto Martini MZ 20 years's corner Jochen Gijselinx fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cléber Pinho quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Beto Martini MZ 20 years's zone, Afonso Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Fedosz came out of the goal and Afonso Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chuttur Lønge made a kick off. When Doriva Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Clube do Remo MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doriva Pinho couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Clube do Remo MZ's Afonso Paraíba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Bernard Fedosz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Maia in the 69th minute of play. Afonso Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clube do Remo MZ's Luiz Fernando Pena was substituted for Doriva Pinho. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mário Maia got free with Bernard Fedosz in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 77 played minutes Clube do Remo MZ got a freekick which was hit by Gil Secco. Gil Secco hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Cléber Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jochen Gijselinx, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Clube do Remo MZ's Cléber Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chuttur Lønge in the 81st minute of play. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Bernard Fedosz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Maia in the 84th minute of play. Mário Maia in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernard Fedosz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 92 minutes into the match, Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goal looked a bit too open when Joélson de Carvalho came free, but Bernard Fedosz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Luiz Fernando Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube do Remo MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fernando Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
