Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Omar Maju took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Capdevilla getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Hector Berdoi hit a great ball. Omar Maju took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 11th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Valery having to interfere. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Capdevilla's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pastor Valery quite easily take care of the ball. Miguel Diagur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Pastor Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. Pastor Valery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 43rd minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Capdevilla made a substitution. Carolo Christobal replaced Filomeno Hitz. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Omar Maju sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. 65 minutes into the game, Miguel Diagur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Capdevilla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adolfo Dolfo in the 70th minute. A nice corner shot did that Omar Maju got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miguel Diagur scored 4-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Omar Maju who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The nice shot from Daniel Zorita in the 87thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Pastor Valery had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Albano Francho kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Hector Berdoi charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Berdoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Capdevilla's Hector Berdoi got a free kick in the 96th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Pastor Valery in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
