Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luizão Ramos hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 6th minute of play forced Maden FC's goalkeeper Lütfü Mürsel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lütfü Mürsel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, İstemihan Günay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 1-0. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Osoro in the 14th minute of play. Lütfü Mürsel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Leonardo Leoz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Bozkurt Tanyıldız hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Lütfü Mürsel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maden FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Carballo in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Carballo in the 31st minute of play. Doğuhan Koca kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lütfü Mürsel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Lütfü Mürsel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Luca Zorita got free in front of the goal in the 38th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Lütfü Mürsel was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, İstemihan Günay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İstemihan Günay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ali Numan Abanoz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when Maden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çelebi Taşkın didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute, Joel Gaona sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Maden FC's Lütfü Mürsel didn't even have to move.

The wind increased when Cristobal Osoro made the kick off in the second half. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lütfü Mürsel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lütfü Mürsel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Lütfü Mürsel in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when İstemihan Günay came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Osoro in the 72nd minute of play. Maden FC's Sérgio Godoi was substituted for Octavio Carballo. Maden FC were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. İstemihan Günay took the corner. In the 78th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Luca Rouco advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-1 in the 78th minute. Cristobal Osoro hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Lütfü Mürsel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lütfü Mürsel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maden FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
