Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Serafim Catranides kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 3rd minute of play forced Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás DAndrea having to interfere. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás DAndrea having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Chabier in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás DAndrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Cerilo in the 19th minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute of the match, Serafim Catranides got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Cerilo in the 38th minute of play. Eleuterio Chabier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Eleuterio Chabier slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 44th minute.

Braulio Cerilo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. In the 56th minute Braulio Cerilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Catranides in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Serafim Catranides cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Defensores del Ángel Gris getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Igor Lixandro hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Eleuterio Chabier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute Clemente Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Chabier came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores del Ángel Gris's Serafim Catranides. But to his dismay, Serafim Catranides quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 83 minutes into the game, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Eleuterio Estebano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 88th minute Eleuterio Chabier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores del Ángel Gris the free kick. Nicolás DAndrea was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hugo Ferrant. Defensores del Ángel Gris walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
