Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 5 minutes into the game, Korneliusz Augustyn threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Patricio Costa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Edelmiro Cresconio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Hernan Felipillo sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Jonathan Ferrant threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Hernan Felipillo this time. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of ELPORVE booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Qian Jun Bo got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Qian Jun Bo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ELPORVE's Qian Jun Bo got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjorn van Baarle in the 25th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edelmiro Cresconio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lico Diaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximus Ayuso in the 32nd minute of the match. Qian Jun Bos short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 40th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Cresconio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Qian Jun Bo in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 minutes of play, ELPORVE's Qian Jun Bo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Venezuela's Patricio Costa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Sol in the 53 minute of the game. After having played for 55 minutes, Qian Jun Bo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ELPORVE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Qian Jun Bo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to ELPORVE getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Felix Sol hit a great ball. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Hernan Felipillo, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 64 played minutes ELPORVE got a freekick which was hit by Felix Sol. Lico Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Epifanio Lauro took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjorn van Baarle in the 72nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edelmiro Cresconio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, ELPORVE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Sol to maneuver through the defense. Felix Sol got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Epifanio Lauro. The supporters of ELPORVE booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edelmiro Cresconio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 95th minute of the match.
