Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Dale Dolar took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dale Dolar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Dale Dolar sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 26 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 after 28 minutes of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Patricio Ugutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Ugutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Dale Dolar made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dale Dolar went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tang Yang Le hit a great ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Jorge Carrascal replaced Dale Dolar. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Carlo Gamarra replaced Tião Paraíba. A throw-in in the 78th minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Felix Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Carrascal in the 80th minute of play. After 85 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amílton Loyola who took care of the corner kick. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Eliézer de Carvalho got a free kick in the 91st minute. Jorge Carrascal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Carrascal struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcellos Mineiro FC. Jorge Carrascal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Barcellos Mineiro FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
