Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 6 minutes AIF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Tasis who took care of the corner kick. In the 7th minute Alfred Sandström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Månsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Benito Sanz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Emanuel Månsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Odin in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliseo Noboa scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarl Andreasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute, AIF's Erik Odin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 29th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Klint to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Alcocer's late challenge caught a AIF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Alcocer helped the player get up and apologised. AIF's Jarl Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 34th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Axel Tasis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarl Andreasson. AIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Tasis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Erik Odin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Sandström in the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by AIF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Tasis was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Rica's players had a chance to rest. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Sandström in the 51st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 minutes of play, AIF's Emanuel Månsson made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 60 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Sandström in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Emanuel Månsson notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 72 minutes of play, AIF's Erik Odin made it 6-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Erik Odin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Erik Odin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to AIF getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Emanuel Månsson hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Sandström in the 80th minute of play. Alfred Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emanuel Månsson came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the AIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Månsson couldn't finish the play. AIF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
