Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. Ellis Hoskin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Garth Brough could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Joaquin Gayoso however easily saved by the left post. 14 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Garth Brough came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Garth Brough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Garth Brough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Garth Brough sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Garth Brough kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brown Haslett to maneuver through the defense. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Rufus Roach. When Garth Brough came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Australian Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garth Brough couldn't finish the play. Garth Brough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 45th minute of play. Garth Brough might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garth Brough ran back to his position shaking his head. Garth Brough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Garth Brough to strike the kick off in the second half. When Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keylor Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ellis Hoskin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Garth Brough who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Garth Brough had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Garth Brough was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ellis Hoskin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ellis Hoskin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keylor Navas. Australian Youth Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Garth Brough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garth Brough, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute, one of Uruguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uruguay. The Australian Youth Academy fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 88 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Garth Brough came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
