Higinio Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Los Hijos de Doña Beija got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Pirlo. Higinio Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Aguilera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Higinio Aguilera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Higinio Aguilera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venancio Sandaili got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Demy Ottens. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Indiana Jones was substituted for Luís Fábio Rocha. Hu Xiong Zhen kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 58th minute of play. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Higinio Aguilera made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Jyrki Sillanpää came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Milagros Fraga in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Ciro Osasun. When Indiana Jones got free in front of the goal in the 97th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Rolando Noboa was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
