Delmiro Chale kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Jacinto Hermelando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy Kennedy, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Nicanor Silban charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicanor Silban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, A.D. Bar-Met was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Silban to maneuver through the defense. If Moises Iago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Troy Kennedy got a free kick in the 20th minute. A.D. Bar-Met's Moises Iago suffered a concussion after 21 minutes and had to leave the field. 21 minutes into the game, Bertie Johnson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.D. Bar-Met the free kick. A.D. Bar-Met's Gualterio Felipillo was substituted for Moises Iago. After 22 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Bertie Johnson. If Eusebio Belarmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rocco Owen's late challenge caught a A.D. Bar-Met's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rocco Owen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Rocco Owen got a free kick in the 27th minute. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. If Nicanor Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Davies in the 34th minute of play forced A.D. Bar-Met's goalkeeper Jacinto Hermelando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Davies to make the kick off. Stanley Wallace's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jacinto Hermelando firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Gualterio Felipillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Troy Kennedy fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacao's protests and gave Troy Kennedy a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of A.D. Bar-Met booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Troy Kennedy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusebio Belarmo took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Curacao! After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gualterio Felipillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D. Bar-Met's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Felipillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 93 minutes, Jordan Porter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curacao and the A.D. Bar-Met players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Jordan Porter got a free kick in the 94th minute.
