In the 4th minute of the match KANONIERZY got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ime Mavros ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ime Mavros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 12th minute of the match, Ali Hamza Hanefi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Manzanares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Abram Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marian Sobania hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Ali Hamza Hanefi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 27th match minute, KANONIERZY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Zgonina to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes, Colombia's Axel Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Abbiati came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colombia reached it. In the 37th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Abbiati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ime Mavros got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kevin Mastache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Abbiati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Christian Abbiati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gösta Söderberg in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. The score was now 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, KANONIERZY's goalkeeper Christian Abbiati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro.
