Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arrigo Trinca started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced B&B Jelenia Góra's goalkeeper Gilbert Kordalewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbert Kordalewski was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 6th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montenegro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 8th minute, Wincent Szotek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, B&B Jelenia Góra's Arrigo Trinca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when B&B Jelenia Góra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofil Paprotny didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arrigo Trinca in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Wincent Szotek made a great header on B&B Jelenia Góra's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. When Zachariasz Barys fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored B&B Jelenia Góra's protests and gave Zachariasz Barys a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Arrigo Trinca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Arrigo Trinca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute of the match, Arrigo Trinca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gilbert Kordalewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arrigo Trinca might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arrigo Trinca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. B&B Jelenia Góra's Gilbert Kordalewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. Arrigo Trinca might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arrigo Trinca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th match minute, B&B Jelenia Góra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariasz Barys to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gisbert during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arrigo Trinca in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Gilbert Kordalewski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 53 minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilbert Kordalewski. B&B Jelenia Góra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbert Kordalewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arrigo Trinca's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincent Szotek, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 85th minute Arrigo Trinca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wincent Szotek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When Zachariasz Barys was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than B&B Jelenia Góra.
