Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play forced Woopbongo's goalkeeper Valter Wallgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valter Wallgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Håkansson in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valter Wallgren saved Woopbongo from getting behind. Primitivo Andino made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. Woopbongo's Valter Wallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 27th minute of play forced Woopbongo's goalkeeper Valter Wallgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Woopbongo got a freekick which was hit by Ola Håkansson.

The wind increased when Ola Håkansson made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ola Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Håkansson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valter Wallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of play. Valter Wallgren made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd match minute, Woopbongo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 尤青文 to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Valter Wallgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Woopbongo's Valter Wallgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Woopbongo from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Håkansson in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Håkansson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edgar Albohm was slow to take the kick. During this time Woopbongo's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Edgar Albohm got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mats Gerdberg hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Valter Wallgren made a huge save. The Woopbongo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
