Amedeo Vituccis short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Amedeo Vitucci scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niklas Pedersson was slow to take the kick. During this time Águilas Poblanas's players had a chance to rest. In the 19th minute Carlo Ciolli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Carlo Ciolli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas scored 2-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandros Ismael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Ciolli, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Águilas Poblanas booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Carlo Ciolli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlo Ciolli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlo Ciolli in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Águilas Poblanas's Klement Malik to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Joshua Secada fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Joshua Secada a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Ciolli scored 4-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Victor Macias hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Águilas Poblanas were the better team. Águilas Poblanas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
