Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cassius Byrne took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Wawro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Sârban struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rega Merida CF. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Sârban in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Wawro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Sârban received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marco Day came out and tried to block the shot, but Nistor Sârban slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. Konstanty Wawro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Arnăuțescu in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Wawro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Rogers in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstanty Wawro saved Rega Merida CF from getting behind. Konstanty Wawro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 39th minute of the match Rega Merida CF got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elpidio Umbruso ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Elpidio Umbruso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nistor Sârban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Telis Lianos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Edward Mcdonald had to leave the field with a concussion. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Edward Mcdonald. Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Konstanty Wawro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cassius Byrne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Konstanty Wawro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Konstanty Wawro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Konstanty Wawro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khalid Parry struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Konstanty Wawro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. Rega Merida CF's Konrad Knopek was substituted for Nistor Sârban. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Knopek in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Rega Merida CF booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Moore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Konstanty Wawro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 86th minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Konstanty Wawro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Konrad Knopek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rega Merida CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
