Lautaro Navarro stood somewhat misplaced when Jens-Ove Malm came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. 17 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tolgahan Onatkan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 19 minutes in the game, Tolgahan Onatkan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Lautaro Navarro threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tolgahan Onatkan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 22nd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Espiga to maneuver through the defense. Tolgahan Onatkan struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Verde F.C CIMZ. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Siqueira got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Siqueira did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Lautaro Navarro 40 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Malm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Espinar during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens-Ove Malm made a kick off. Jens-Ove Malm scored 4-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolgahan Onatkan in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jens-Ove Malm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Ove Malm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Tolgahan Onatkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tolgahan Onatkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcos Siqueira who took care of the corner kick. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marcos Siqueira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thiago Neves hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jens-Ove Malm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolgahan Onatkan's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 73rd minute of play. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Marcos Siqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the game, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. If Murilo Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Di Yang Feng made in the 85th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Israel Vidal however managed to control. If Lenílson Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Malm in the 89th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Lenílson Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fully deserved thier win.
