Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edgar Miodek made the kick off which started today's match. Edgar Miodek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pedro de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Mattos came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilson Leite who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gilson Leite got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of The Punisher booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as The Punisher's Edgar Miodek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. In the 20th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ke Kun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Edgar Miodek rounded Costa Rica's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, The Punisher's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Ke Kun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcisio de Lara in the 38th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Tarcisio de Lara sent off a good shot on target. Dráusio Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Tarcisio de Lara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Tarcisio de Lara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Gilson Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Punisher's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilson Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Edgar Miodek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. The supporters of The Punisher booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio de Lara came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Tarcisio de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Leite in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Gilson Leite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilson Leite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Miodek in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. After having played for 71 minutes, Edgar Miodek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Punisher's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Miodek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Miodek in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Miodek in the 76th minute of the match. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of The Punisher booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gilson Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarcisio de Lara struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Punisher. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilson Leite in the 95th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute of the match Gilson Leite shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
