Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gortaty's Benedykt Siembab started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Skrzypiec to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Kopacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedykt Siembab might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedykt Siembab ran back to his position shaking his head. After 16 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. In the 19th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Gortaty's Benedykt Siembab fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 36th play minutes Benedykt Siembab shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Czeslaw Skrzypiec might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Czeslaw Skrzypiec ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 41st minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. In the 44th minute, Czeslaw Skrzypiec made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. When Efrain Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Efrain Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. In the 61st minute of the match Sebastian Kasiewski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bartosz Chrzan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Siembab in the 67th minute of play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Siembab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iwo Mleczewski during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Iwo Mleczewski. Karol Kopacz was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Eliseo Noboa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliseo Noboa really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. 81 minutes into the match, Benedykt Siembab notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 89 minutes of play, Gortaty's Benedykt Siembab made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bartosz Chrzan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gortaty had played much better football throughout.
