Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Fabelo in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Zula Paraszczuk fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fae Folgore's protests and gave Zula Paraszczuk a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Fabelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 56th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. Olgierd Balonek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st minute, Marco Fabelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Fabelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Fabelo ran back to his position shaking his head. Jerzy Augustyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, João do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fae Folgore made a substitution. Dariusz Kluczyk replaced Aureliusz Bejger. After a rather tough play, Fae Folgore's João do Nascimento got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Wincenty Szarmach notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jakub Latocha hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
