BESTIA GDAŃSK's Pankracy Cerocki got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pankracy Cerocki in the 13th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Patricio Otoniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartosz Gad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Pankracy Cerocki sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, BESTIA GDAŃSK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Leszek Huchro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pankracy Cerocki in the 39th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pankracy Cerocki in the 43rd minute of the match. Antonio Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 46 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Julio Vera had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Bartosz Gad's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 50th minute to try and stop a shot by BESTIA GDAŃSK's Bartosz Gad. But to his dismay, Bartosz Gad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Albert Remus made the kick off in the second half. When Juan Sebastián Puig fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Juan Sebastián Puig a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute Albert Remus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Remus scored 4-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Gad in the 99th minute of play. The BESTIA GDAŃSK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
