The Palace Punisher
Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Pardo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, The Punisher's Edmundo Quadros got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Iker Tafalla's late challenge caught a The Punisher's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iker Tafalla helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, The Punisher's Gilson Leite ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in The Punisher's zone, Hector Covarrubias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ke Kun came out of the goal and Hector Covarrubias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the game, Edmundo Quadros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Punisher's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. In the 15th match minute, The Punisher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Quadros to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Alan Campos. When The Punisher's Edgar Miodek in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. Edgar Miodek succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 22nd playminute. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Tarcisio de Lara sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ke Kun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, The Punisher's Gilson Leite dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 43 minutes into the game, The Punisher's Edgar Miodek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Miodek made a kick off. Ke Kun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Edgar Miodek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Gilson Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilson Leite in the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Covarrubias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Miodek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes The Punisher got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Neiva. After a defensive mix-up in The Punisher's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ke Kun came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of The Punisher booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Edgar Miodek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 85th minute, Edgar Miodek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Godoi in the 89th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. The Punisher were victorious despite being under pressure from Paraguay for much of the match.
