Themis Papadimoulis struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VfL Bad Nenndorf. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Themis Papadimoulis in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbert Štriker in the 16th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Lekberg got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Baptist Haas. VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Themis Papadimoulis went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 24 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by VfL Bad Nenndorf's Lv Kun Liang. But to his dismay, Lv Kun Liang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Themis Papadimoulis's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Themis Papadimoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. VfL Bad Nenndorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Themis Papadimoulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the game, Róbert Štriker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lv Kun Liang went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Jonatan Lekberg made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Baptist Haas however managed to control. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Štriker in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of VfL Bad Nenndorf booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themis Papadimoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. He walked away shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Themis Papadimoulis's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Themis Papadimoulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Roland Holthuis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Roland Holthuis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the VfL Bad Nenndorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Roland Holthuis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roland Holthuis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. There was no doubt that VfL Bad Nenndorf were the better team. VfL Bad Nenndorf's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
