When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Taito Turpeinen took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Thomás Arantes to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 30 minutes, Taito Turpeinen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taito Turpeinen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 minutes of play, Liverpool FC's Tuukka Liimatainen made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomás Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 丅卂从卂-乇リ 下.匚's Thomás Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuukka Liimatainen in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind 丅卂从卂-乇リ 下.匚's goalkeeper Thomás Arantes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viljami Virtala got free with Thomás Arantes in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dida Arósio was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Taito Turpeinen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Taito Turpeinen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomás Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomás Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taito Turpeinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reino Kaltiainen to maneuver through the defense.
